After being diagnosed with cancer and now on the road to being a cancer survivor, she has realized that life really is too short to put things off and reminds herself of what matters most. She has always been a mentor for young girls, through her involvement in community relations, whether its’ with the Society of Women Engineers, the Girls Scouts of America or through Boys & Girls Clubs.
